“ I recently brought my Lexus in for a recall and also because the rear tailgate wasn't closing properly. The issue ended up being faulty sensors, and thankfully everything was covered under the Lexus warranty. The service team replaced the sensors, and my vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup the very next day. I want to give a special thank you to everyone (Ryan and Mr Lopes) helped me throughout the process. The gentleman who assisted us during the repair was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. The gentleman who checked me out when I picked up my vehicle was also great to work with and made the process smooth and easy. I also want to recognize the young man who checked me in when I first brought the vehicle in. He was so patient and friendly, even though I know I can be very particular about my car. I'm extremely careful with my paint and specifically requested that my vehicle not go through a car wash because I only use touchless washes. Everyone listened to my concerns, respected my requests, and made me feel valued as a customer. Excellent customer service can be hard to find, and this team truly delivered. “ I needed to get my wheel locks removed but I didn’t have the key. So, when I went to Lexus of Highland Park i didn’t know what to expect, thinking the worse. Let me tell you though, the service I received was above and beyond exceptional. From the moment I pulled into the bay, I was greeted by Eric with a kind gesture of good morning; how can I help you today. There was another young lady as well, who was very helpful. I’m sorry, but I didn’t get her name. They directed me to a service representative by the name of Patrick who was extremely benevolent from the get-go. I explained my wheel lock situation to Patrick and he immediately had one of his technicians remove all four of my wheel locks without hesitation, without questioning and he had my car washed. And by Patrick’s recommendation, I was also very fortunate to pick up a key for my wheel locks from their parts department. Lexus‘s motto is the pursuit of perfection and let me tell you what the service department they met that perfection thank you very much to everyone that made me feel like a VIP! They weren’t able to fully diagnose the noise before closing and needed more time, but my service advisor Patrick H. immediately offered me a loaner—no hesitation, no hassle. The whole process was incredibly smooth and stress-free. The next morning, I received a call explaining what they believed was causing the noise. I’ll admit, I was a little unconvinced at first because it sounded like it was coming from a different area of the car. “ Today we are giving five stars because of Patrick (think he's one of the technicians). The battery on my mom's 1.5 year old (15k mi) car died inexplicably. We asked why and some mouthy service guy blamed it on inaccurate assumptions about my mom's driving habits (pro tip: some people are just incompetent and agist, ask for someone besides Dino), but Patrick saved the day!! He took the time to understand the situation, think through the facts, politely ask clarifying questions, and ultimately suss out the cause of the problem. Thanks Patrick!!! Hey Dino: turns out, if you store your key fob too close to your car, over time it kills the car and the fob batteries. You will also have to look up "Faraday cage," because the solution is to store your key in one. In the future, if you don't know something, have some humility and just say so. Don't make something up and blame my mom - that just makes you a jerk. ”

Although I reside closer to another Lexus dealership, I make the effort to travel further solely to experience the exceptional customer service provided by Lexus of Highland Park. “ I was able to get an appointment right away. They took me in right away and I was given a loaner car. Dino explained everything to me on the workings of the car. He called me almost exactly when he expected my car to be done. It was the price I expected except when I got home I noticed a $6.15 charge that didn't make sense so I mentioned that on the survey they had sent me and Dino called within a 1/2 hour to explain it. Honestly it is a stupid charge but apparently it has been on all the past bills too and I just missed it. Extra parts needed. I actually went back through my bills and I do see it, under misc. at the end. Between $6-9:00 That is my only complaint, the bills are very long and wordy thus often confusing. Just say what you did and how much parts and labor was. I appreciate the time Dino takes with me, but I like everything explained. Totally love the car wash...... ”

“ My reason for a 3-star rating is because of price switching. Back in September I negotiated a price for a new set of tires, when I arrived to get them installed, the price was almost $200 higher. Then in October I called to schedule a 30,000 mile maintenance service and was quoted $505 minus a 15% Vertrans discount. When I arrived I was told the price would be $689 minus a 15% Vetrans discount. I see this as either miscommunication or price jacking. In other words buyer beware. I eventually got both prices adjusted to the original quotes but it took Management to get involved. I double check everything before I sign any agreement, but I wonder how many poor fools don't and get taken for the higher price. I'd like to add that Arvin and Patrick were a delight to work with at check-in - check-out. Both were extremely helpful and bent over backward to ensure I received quality service. I give them both 5-star rattings. Thank you Arvin and Patrick! ”
